Course details

Are you sometimes frustrated, when your head prevents you from progressing further in your climbing?  Do you feel that your physical ability surpasses your mental ability?  Or do you feel that fear or anxiety levels are too high and affecting you climbing performance or comfoprt level with falling?  We can help with our climbing psychology coaching Kalymnos workshop.

In our Climbing Psychology coaching Kalymnos workshop, we look at what happens in the brain when fear kicks in. We look at ways to deal with this fear, and how we can progressively manage this, to try and improve our climbing.

In the workshop we will look at:

  • Fear and how it manifests itself in the brain
  • Habits and motivation
  • Optimal performance
  • Our mindset
  • Fear of failure
  • The influence of thoughts
  • How to progressively expose the brain
  • Coping strategies
  • Falling exercises

The workshop will consist of 2 hours of theory, followed by 4 hours of practice at a nearby crag.  By the end of the climbing psychology coaching Kalymnos workshop, you will have learnt more about yourself, and grown in confidence in your own ability.

The workshop tends to be 7 hours long, and is very intensive.  The client-to-instructor ratio does not exceed 10:1, so that we can give you our fullest attention.

All of our courses are tailored to suit your availability and experience, taking into account any individual needs and fitness levels.
